Bihar STET 2026 Application Process Begins
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the notification for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 (Advertisement No. PR. 183/2026). This is a crucial opportunity for candidates aspiring to become secondary (classes 9-10) and higher secondary (classes 11-12) teachers in Bihar. The online application window opened on August 17, 2026, and will close on August 31, 2026. Candidates must ensure they meet the detailed eligibility criteria, including nationality, age limits, and educational qualifications, before applying.
It is important to remember that STET is an eligibility test, not a direct recruitment examination. Successfully passing STET 2026 will qualify you to apply for future teacher recruitment vacancies announced by the Bihar Education Department.
