The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to release the dummy admit cards for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 on September 25, 2026. Candidates must download their dummy admit card and meticulously check all the details. The correction window will be active from September 25 to September 30, 2026. During this period, any discrepancies found in personal information, photograph, signature, or category can be rectified online. It is vital to ensure all information is accurate, especially for reserved category candidates, as incorrect details could lead to issues later. If a correction results in an additional examination fee, it must also be paid online by September 30.
The Bihar STET 2026 examination is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and is tentatively scheduled to commence from the first week of November 2026. The exam comprises two papers: Paper I for Classes 9 and 10, and Paper II for Classes 11 and 12. Each paper consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 150 marks, with a duration of two hours and 30 minutes. There is no negative marking, which is a significant relief for candidates. The exam pattern includes 100 questions on the specified subject and 50 questions on teaching art and other general knowledge aspects. Reserved categories receive a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.
