MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Schedule Released
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the detailed schedule for NEET UG Counselling 2026. This centralized counselling process is for admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and various central institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, and Delhi University Medical Colleges.
Qualified NEET UG 2026 candidates must participate in the online counselling process, which includes registration, fee payment, choice filling, and locking. It is crucial to complete each step within the specified dates to be considered for seat allotment. The counselling is conducted in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a Stray Vacancy Round. Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, reservation policy, seat availability, and candidate preferences.
The first round of AIQ counselling begins on August 4, 2026, with registration and fee payment starting from August 5, 2026. Choice filling will be open from August 6 to August 13, 2026, and choice locking from August 12 to August 13, 2026. The results for Round 1 will be declared on August 17, 2026, followed by reporting to allotted colleges from August 18 to August 22, 2026. State counselling rounds will follow a slightly different schedule, so candidates should check both AIQ and state-specific dates carefully.
