MCC UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Float Resignation/Withdrawal Notice
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notice for candidates who participated in Round 1 of UG Counselling 2026. This notice specifically addresses FLOAT candidates who had joined a Round 1 allotted seat through MCC counselling and were not upgraded in Round 2 (meaning they retained their Round 1 seat), but now wish to resign or withdraw from that seat.
Candidates who wish to resign or withdraw their Round 1 joined seat can do so online from 02:00 P.M. on September 13, 2026, up to 06:00 P.M. on September 15, 2026. This window allows for resignation or withdrawal without the forfeiture of the security deposit. It is crucial for candidates to complete this process within the stipulated time to avoid losing their security deposit.
To resign or withdraw, candidates must log into their account on the MCC portal and generate a Seat Withdrawal slip online. Resignations submitted beyond the deadline of 06:00 P.M. on September 15, 2026, will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit. Furthermore, candidates must ensure that their resignation letter or seat withdrawal slip is generated online through the MCC portal, as any resignation not processed online will be considered 'Null & Void'.
