MCC UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Seat Resignation Notice
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an important notice regarding the resignation and seat withdrawal facility for Round 1 of UG Counselling 2026. This facility is specifically for candidates who had previously joined a Round 1 seat allotted through MCC counselling and now wish to resign or withdraw from that seat.
Candidates who want to resign their Round 1 joined seat can do so from 02:00 P.M. on August 31, 2026, up to 01:00 P.M. on September 02, 2026. It is crucial for candidates to understand the instructions for resignation to avoid any forfeiture of their security deposit.
To resign, Round 1 candidates must physically report to their allotted institute. The resignation submitted within the stipulated time will be without forfeiture of the security deposit. Candidates must ensure that their Resignation Letter or Seat Withdrawal slip is generated online through the portal provided by MCC by the Nodal Officer of the admitted institute. Failure to do so will render the resignation 'Null & Void', meaning the candidate will not be considered to have resigned officially and may face consequences, including forfeiture of their security deposit.
