NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Begins August 5
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially announced the NEET UG Counselling 2026 schedule for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses. This is a crucial update for all candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and are aspiring for admission under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) or other participating institutions. Round 1 registration is set to commence on August 5, 2026, on the official portal, mcc.nic.in.
The counselling process is entirely online, ensuring a streamlined and accessible procedure for all eligible candidates. It is vital to complete your registration, choice filling, and locking within the stipulated deadlines to secure a seat. The academic session for the 2026-27 batch is scheduled to begin on September 8, 2026. Candidates must pay close attention to the fee structure, which includes both a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit, varying by category and institution type. For instance, General category candidates applying for AIQ seats will pay INR 1,000 as a registration fee and INR 10,000 as a security deposit. Deemed Universities have a higher security deposit of INR 2,00,000 for all categories. Ensure all required documents are ready for upload and verification to avoid any last-minute complications.
