NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule Released for Remaining Rounds

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the detailed schedule for the remaining rounds of NEET UG 2026 counselling. This includes Round 2, Round 3, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round for admission to MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% Deemed/Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal) institutions.

Candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotted seat should carefully review the dates for registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment processing, and reporting to the allotted institutions. It is crucial to adhere strictly to the specified timelines to avoid missing out on admission opportunities.

For Round 2, registration and payment will be open from September 3 to September 8, 2026. Choice filling will be available until September 9, 2026, with choice locking starting from September 8, 2026. The seat allotment result for Round 2 will be declared on September 11, 2026, and reporting to colleges will be from September 12 to September 18, 2026.

Round 3 registration and payment will commence on September 22, 2026, and conclude on September 27, 2026. Choice filling for Round 3 will be from September 23 to September 28, 2026. The seat allotment result for Round 3 is scheduled for September 30, 2026, followed by reporting from October 1 to October 9, 2026.

The Online Stray Vacancy Round registration will be from October 12 to October 14, 2026, with choice filling until October 15, 2026. The result for this round will be out on October 17, 2026, and reporting will take place from October 19 to October 26, 2026. All participating institutes are directed to consider all Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Holidays as working days to ensure timely completion of the counselling process.
