NEET UG Counselling 2026: Revised Schedule for Round 3 and Stray Vacancy
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the revised counselling schedule for NEET UG 2026, specifically for Round 3 and the Stray Vacancy round. This update is crucial for all candidates aspiring to secure admission to undergraduate medical courses through the counselling process. The revised dates are now available on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, and candidates are advised to check them carefully to avoid missing any deadlines.
The registration for Round 3 counselling is set to commence on September 22, 2026, and will conclude on September 27, 2026. Following registration, the choice filling and locking window will be open from September 23 to September 28, 2026. Candidates must complete these steps within the stipulated time to be considered for seat allotment. The seat allotment processing for Round 3 will take place between September 28 and 29, 2026, with the results being declared on September 30, 2026.
After the Round 3 seat allotment, selected candidates must report to their allotted colleges for admission and document verification from October 1 to October 9, 2026. Institutes will then verify the joined candidates' data on October 10, 2026. Subsequently, the Stray Vacancy Round will begin with online registration from October 12 to 14, 2026, and choice filling/locking from October 12 to 15, 2026. The Stray Vacancy Round allotment result will be announced on October 17, 2026, with reporting to colleges scheduled from October 19 to 26, 2026.
