NEET UG Counselling 2026: Special Stray Vacancy Round Announced
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS admissions and the 5th and 6th rounds for BDS/B.Sc Nursing admissions under NEET UG 2026. This is a crucial opportunity for candidates who are yet to secure a seat in these medical and paramedical courses.
The Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS will commence with registration and payment from November 2, 2026, to November 4, 2026. Choice filling and locking will be available until November 5, 2026. The seat allotment result for this round will be published on November 7, 2026, and candidates must report to their allotted colleges by November 16, 2026.
For BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses, the 5th round follows a similar schedule to the MBBS Special Stray Vacancy Round. The 6th round for BDS/B.Sc Nursing will have its registration and payment facility open from November 17, 2026, to November 19, 2026. Choice filling will also conclude on November 19, 2026. The result for the 6th round will be declared on November 20, 2026, with reporting to colleges required by November 28, 2026.
