Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026: Important Update
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee (OJEE Committee) is expected to release the notification for Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026 in August 2026. This counselling process is for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% state quota. Once the official notification is published, eligible candidates will be able to complete their registration online through the dedicated OJEE counselling portal.
The entire counselling process for state quota seats in Odisha, including registration, document upload, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute, will be conducted online. It is important for aspirants to note that the state counselling usually begins after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) starts the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling. Therefore, candidates are advised to keep track of both schedules simultaneously to avoid missing any deadlines.
Candidates must ensure they meet all the eligibility criteria, including NEET UG 2026 qualification, OJEE Committee's specific requirements, Odisha domicile conditions, and age and academic qualification norms. Failing to meet any of these conditions could lead to disqualification. The detailed schedule for choice filling, seat allotment results, and reporting deadlines will be announced with the official notification.
