PGEAC 2026 M.Tech Round 3 Counselling Schedule Released
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the schedule for the Third Round of Post Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (PGEAC)-2026 for M.Tech courses in Government Engineering Colleges of Bihar. This counselling round is for candidates who qualified and submitted their online application/willingness based on Adv. No.- BCECEB(PGEAC)-2026/08 dated 30.08.2026. It aims to fill vacant seats remaining after the Second Counselling, which took place from 10.08.2026 to 14.08.2026.
All eligible candidates included in the merit list must attend the counselling session on the scheduled date and time. It is crucial to bring a printout of your online-filled application form (Confirmation Page) along with all original certificates and documents as specified in the PGEAC-2026 prospectus. After successful verification of your documents and identity, courses and institutions will be allotted based on merit/rank, adhering to the PGEAC-2026 prospectus guidelines.
Reserved category candidates whose PGEAC-ID is also listed in the Unreserved (UR) category must attend counselling on the date and time designated for the UR merit serial. This allows them to choose from options available in the UR category. Failure to attend at the UR merit slot means the seat will be allotted to a lower-merit candidate, and the responsibility will lie with the applicant. Seats blocked due to such category jumps will only be opened on the day of the respective category counselling.
The Round 3 Counselling/Interview for PGEAC-2026 will be conducted offline at the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board office, IAS Association Building, Near Patna Airport, Patna-14. The counselling for DQ and Unreserved categories is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
