PGEAC M.Tech. 2nd Round Counselling 2026: Registration Open
Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the second round of Post Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (PGEAC)-2026 for M.Tech. courses in Government Engineering Colleges of Bihar. This round is open for both GATE qualified candidates and B.Tech. passed (Non-GATE) candidates.
Fresh online registration and application form submission are invited from eligible GATE qualified candidates who have a valid GATE score and did not apply in the first round. Additionally, B.Tech. passed candidates (Non-GATE) can also apply for the vacant seats after the first round of counselling.
Candidates who previously submitted their online application form for PGEAC-2026 (as per Adv. No. BCECEB(PGEAC)-2026/01 & 2026/02 Dated 22.07.2026) and were either admitted, not admitted, or absent in Round-1 counselling can participate in Round-2 by giving their consent/willingness through their online account. It is important to note that candidates admitted through Round-1 counselling who opt for Round-2 will not be able to edit their previously filled application form data. Such candidates must submit their admission slip and a Bonafide Certificate from their admitted college during the Round-2 document verification process.
The counselling and admission process for this round will be conducted offline. Detailed eligibility criteria, application procedure, prospectus, available courses, residential requirements, and selection process are available on the BCECEB website. Vacancies after the first round of admission (July 28, 2026) are displayed on the Board's website, with further updates to be provided during counselling. Reserved category seats will be converted as per rules if eligible candidates are unavailable.
