UGMAC-2026 Counselling for Medical Admissions Begins
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the commencement of online applications and choice filling for the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC)-2026. This counselling process is for admission to first-year UG Medical/Dental courses (MBBS/BDS) in government and private medical/dental colleges across Bihar. Additionally, it includes admissions for B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses in government veterinary and fisheries colleges in the state.
Candidates who have qualified NEET(UG)-2026 are eligible to apply for UGMAC-2026. The selection of candidates will be based on the merit list/rank of UGMAC-2026, which is prepared using the NEET(UG)-2026 merit list conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
It is crucial for applicants to upload the correct DQ/NRI/Minority certificate, if applicable, issued by the proper authority. For Ward quota seats, a Ward quota certificate issued by the Registrar of Bihar Animal Science University is mandatory. The online registration and submission of the application form-cum-choice filling for both the 1st and 2nd rounds will begin from August 10, 2026.
