WBMCC NEET UG 2026 Counselling Schedule Released
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has announced the revised tentative schedule for WB NEET UG 2026 counselling. This update includes comprehensive timelines for both Round 3 and the Online Stray Vacancy Round, providing clarity for candidates seeking admission to medical courses in West Bengal.
This revised schedule is applicable for State Quota, Private Management Quota, and NRI Quota seats across various institutions in West Bengal. The Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, issued this important notification to ensure a smooth and transparent admission process.
Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 2 had an extended day for reporting and admission on September 19, 2026. It was crucial for these candidates to complete all admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment, at their allotted institutes.
For private medical colleges, the admission process will be conducted at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata. Similarly, for private dental colleges, the process will take place at Dr R Ahmed Dental College. Upgraded candidates must retrieve their submitted fees and documents, along with a server-generated relieving letter, from their previous college before reporting to their newly allotted institute.
The Round 3 counselling process will commence with online registration for NEET UG 2026-qualified candidates from September 28 to September 30, 2026. Online fee payment will also be available during this period. Verification of registered candidates will occur from September 29 to October 1, 2026. The list of verified candidates and the Round 3 seat matrix will be published after 5 pm on October 1, 2026. Choice filling and locking for Round 3 will be open from October 1 to October 4, 2026. The Round 3 allotment result is expected after 4 pm on October 8, 2026, with reporting and admission scheduled from October 12 to October 14, 2026.
The Online Stray Vacancy Round will begin on October 15, 2026, with online registration and fee payment available until October 16, 2026.
