JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Application Form Correction
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important clarification regarding the submission of fresh online application forms for JEE (Main) – 2027 (Session 1). This notice comes in response to numerous representations from candidates who made errors while filling out their initial application forms.
In a move to facilitate candidates, NTA has decided to allow the submission of a fresh application form for Session 1. This option is available even if candidates have already generated an application number or paid the examination fee for their previous form. However, certain conditions apply to ensure the validity of the application.
Only the last application form for which the examination fee has been successfully paid and the Confirmation Page generated will be considered valid. If a candidate submits a fresh form but fails to complete the fee payment and generate the Confirmation Page, their earlier completed form will remain valid. For each fresh submission, a new Application Number will be generated, and all details, including photographs, signatures, and documents, must be re-entered and re-uploaded.
Candidates who only need to amend specific details are advised to use the correction facility, which will be available from November 27, 2026, to November 29, 2026. Submitting multiple application forms does not grant a candidate the right to appear more than once in the same session. Any candidate attempting to appear in the examination using more than one application number will be subject to Unfair Means (UFM) action as per the Information Bulletin.
