SSC Exam Dates 2026 Revised: New Schedule for JE, SI, and CHSL Exams
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced revised examination dates for several key exams in 2026. Candidates preparing for the Junior Engineer (JE), Delhi Police/CAPF Sub-Inspector (SI), and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier-I examinations should note these changes carefully. The revisions aim to streamline the examination process and provide clarity to aspirants across the country.
The JE Paper-I exam, a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), is now scheduled for two phases: November 2–6, 2026, and then again from November 30–December 1, 2026. This split schedule requires candidates to confirm their specific exam dates and shifts once admit cards are released. Similarly, the Delhi Police and CAPF Sub-Inspector (SI) exam, also a CBE, will be conducted from November 23–28, 2026. For the SSC CHSL Tier-I exam, the Computer-Based Examination is set to take place from November 30 to December 31, 2026.
It is crucial for all candidates to regularly visit the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in, for the latest updates, detailed schedules, and any further announcements. The commission frequently releases important notices regarding admit cards, exam guidelines, and other essential information that directly impacts candidates' preparation and participation. Staying informed through the official portal will help avoid any last-minute confusion or missed deadlines.
