UGC-NET Re-Examination Candidates in Delhi Advised on Traffic

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates appearing for the UGC-NET Re-Examination at centres located in Delhi. This advisory comes in light of the 18th BRICS Summit, which is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 11 to September 13, 2026.

Due to the Summit, extensive security arrangements will be in place, and the Delhi Traffic Police, along with other authorities, are expected to impose traffic diversions and restrictions across various parts of Delhi. While the UGC-NET examination centres are not directly within the major restricted zones, candidates travelling to these centres may still face significant traffic congestion, diversions, and potential delays on certain routes.

Candidates are strongly advised to plan their journey to the examination centre well in advance. It is crucial to allocate sufficient travel time, considering the possible traffic restrictions and diversions. Before starting their journey, candidates should check the latest traffic advisories issued by the Delhi Traffic Police and other relevant authorities. Furthermore, all candidates must ensure they reach their examination centre well before the reporting time specified on their Admit Card to avoid any inconvenience or delay.
