BPSC TRE 4.0 Vacancy to Increase: Education Minister's Big Announcement
Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari has announced that the number of vacancies for the BPSC TRE 4.0 teacher recruitment will be increased beyond the initial 32,388 posts. This significant update comes amidst demands from teacher recruitment aspirants for clarity on the vacancies and examination schedule. The detailed announcement regarding the increased vacancies is expected on Monday, August 24.
Minister Tiwari emphasized that there is no need for students to stage protests, as TRE-4 was initiated in response to their demands. He confirmed that more seats would be added to the existing count. The state government has already sent the requisition for TRE-4 to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), which is responsible for deciding the examination schedule. The BPSC will announce the exam dates at its discretion, as the Education Department does not interfere with this process.
The BPSC TRE 4.0 notification was released in August, with the registration process set to begin on September 1, 2026. Candidates can fill out the application form until September 30, 2026, and the last date for fee payment is September 29, 2026. The registration link will be available on the official BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Aspirants who appear for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 will also be eligible to apply, provided they qualify before the final evaluation. Successful candidates will receive a starting salary ranging from ₹25,000 for primary teachers to ₹32,000 for higher secondary teachers, along with applicable state government allowances.

बिहार के शिक्षा मंत्री मिथिलेश तिवारी ने घोषणा की है कि बीपीएससी टीआरई 4.0 शिक्षक भर्ती के लिए रिक्तियों की संख्या प्रारंभिक 32,388 पदों से अधिक बढ़ाई जाएगी। यह महत्वपूर्ण अपडेट शिक्षक भर्ती के उम्मीदवारों की रिक्तियों और परीक्षा कार्यक्रम पर स्पष्टता की मांगों के बीच आया है। बढ़ी हुई रिक्तियों के संबंध में विस्तृत घोषणा सोमवार, 24 अगस्त को होने की उम्मीद है।
मंत्री तिवारी ने जोर देकर कहा कि छात्रों को विरोध प्रदर्शन करने की कोई आवश्यकता नहीं है, क्योंकि टीआरई-4 उनकी मांगों के जवाब में शुरू किया गया था। उन्होंने पुष्टि की कि मौजूदा संख्या में और सीटें जोड़ी जाएंगी। राज्य सरकार ने पहले ही टीआरई-4 के लिए बिहार लोक सेवा आयोग (बीपीएससी) को अधियाचना भेज दी है, जो परीक्षा कार्यक्रम तय करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है। बीपीएससी अपनी मर्जी से परीक्षा तिथियों की घोषणा करेगा, क्योंकि शिक्षा विभाग इस प्रक्रिया में हस्तक्षेप नहीं करता है।
बीपीएससी टीआरई 4.0 अधिसूचना अगस्त में जारी की गई थी, जिसमें पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया 1 सितंबर, 2026 से शुरू होगी। उम्मीदवार 30 सितंबर, 2026 तक आवेदन पत्र भर सकते हैं, और शुल्क भुगतान की अंतिम तिथि 29 सितंबर, 2026 है। पंजीकरण लिंक बीपीएससी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट bpsc.bih.nic.in पर उपलब्ध होगा। माध्यमिक शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (एसटीईटी) 2026 में शामिल होने वाले उम्मीदवार भी आवेदन करने के पात्र होंगे, बशर्ते वे अंतिम मूल्यांकन से पहले अर्हता प्राप्त कर लें। सफल उम्मीदवारों को प्राथमिक शिक्षकों के लिए ₹25,000 प्रति माह से लेकर उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षकों के लिए ₹32,000 प्रति माह तक का शुरुआती वेतन मिलेगा, साथ ही लागू राज्य सरकार के भत्ते भी मिलेंगे।
