NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination Dress Code and Permissible Items Advisory
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory for candidates appearing in the NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination scheduled for June 21, 2026. This notice provides clear guidelines on the dress code and items allowed inside the examination centres across the country. Candidates are strongly advised to review these instructions carefully to avoid any issues on the exam day.
Key points from the advisory include permission to carry transparent water bottles and admit cards in transparent plastic pouches. Candidates are also allowed to wear articles or objects of faith, such as religious symbols, kalawas, turbans, or hijabs, but must report early for thorough frisking. While light clothing is preferred, full-sleeve garments or woollens are permitted, again requiring early reporting for security checks. Slippers and low-heeled footwear are recommended, with high-heeled footwear potentially leading to additional checks.
Strict prohibitions are in place against electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth accessories, and earphones. Metallic items, large belt buckles, heavy jewellery, and other accessories are also not allowed. All candidates will undergo mandatory frisking. To ensure a smooth entry process, candidates should arrive at the centre at their scheduled reporting time. Non-compliance with these rules may result in denial of entry to the examination hall.

राष्ट्रीय परीक्षण एजेंसी (एनटीए) ने 21 जून, 2026 को होने वाली नीट (यूजी) 2026 पुन: परीक्षा में शामिल होने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण एडवाइजरी जारी की है। इस सूचना में देश भर के परीक्षा केंद्रों पर ड्रेस कोड और अनुमेय वस्तुओं के संबंध में स्पष्ट दिशानिर्देश दिए गए हैं। उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे परीक्षा के दिन किसी भी समस्या से बचने के लिए इन निर्देशों को ध्यान से पढ़ें।
एडवाइजरी के मुख्य बिंदुओं में पारदर्शी पानी की बोतलें और पारदर्शी प्लास्टिक पाउच में एडमिट कार्ड ले जाने की अनुमति शामिल है। उम्मीदवारों को धार्मिक प्रतीक, कलावा, पगड़ी या हिजाब जैसे आस्था के लेख या वस्तुएं पहनने की भी अनुमति है, लेकिन उन्हें गहन तलाशी के लिए परीक्षा केंद्र पर समय से पहले रिपोर्ट करना होगा। हल्के कपड़े पसंद किए जाते हैं, लेकिन यदि आवश्यक हो तो पूरी आस्तीन वाले वस्त्र या ऊनी कपड़े पहनने की अनुमति है, जिसके लिए सुरक्षा जांच के लिए समय से पहले रिपोर्ट करना अनिवार्य है। चप्पल और कम एड़ी वाले जूते पसंद किए जाते हैं, जबकि ऊंची एड़ी वाले जूते पहनने वाले उम्मीदवारों की अतिरिक्त जांच की जा सकती है।
मोबाइल फोन, स्मार्टवॉच, ब्लूटूथ एक्सेसरीज और ईयरफोन सहित किसी भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण को परीक्षा हॉल के अंदर ले जाने पर सख्त प्रतिबंध है। धातु की वस्तुएं, बड़े बेल्ट बकल, भारी आभूषण और अन्य एक्सेसरीज भी परीक्षा हॉल के अंदर अनुमेय नहीं हैं। सभी उम्मीदवारों की प्रवेश से पहले अनिवार्य तलाशी ली जाएगी। सुचारू प्रवेश प्रक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, उम्मीदवारों को निर्धारित रिपोर्टिंग समय पर केंद्र पर पहुंचना चाहिए। इन नियमों का पालन न करने पर परीक्षा हॉल में प्रवेश से वंचित किया जा सकता है।
