NEET UG 2026 Exam Fee Refund: Bank Account Correction Window Now Open
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-confirmation and correction window for bank account details for the NEET (UG) 2026 examination fee refund. This is a crucial step for all candidates who appeared for the exam held on May 03, 2026, and are awaiting their refund.
NTA observed that many candidates submitted incomplete or incorrect bank details, including invalid account numbers. To ensure that the refund amount reaches the correct beneficiary, this correction window has been opened. An important security measure has been implemented: access to the correction facility will only be granted after successful OTP-based Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using the candidate's registered mobile number.
Candidates must log in to the NEET (UG) 2026 portal with their Application Number and Password, complete the OTP verification, and then carefully verify and update their Beneficiary Name, Bank Account Number, Bank Name, and IFSC Code. There is also an option to upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or the first page of the bank passbook. It is vital to ensure all details are accurate to avoid any issues with the refund. Candidates are advised to complete this process before downloading their NEET (UG) 2026 Admit Card.
