NTA Invites Applications for Examination Centre Empanelment 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued an Expression of Interest (EoI) for institutions to be empanelled as NTA examination centres. This initiative aims to expand the network of centres for conducting NTA examinations in both Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Pen-and-Paper Test (PPT) modes.
NTA conducts major national examinations like JEE (Main), NEET (UG), UGC-NET, and CUET (UG & PG) across more than 500 cities in India. To ensure secure and accessible examination environments, NTA is inviting applications from eligible schools, colleges, universities, polytechnics, ITIs, and other educational or training institutions that possess suitable infrastructure.
Interested parties can submit their EoI through the NTA portal. The submission process involves providing detailed information about the facility and supporting documents as outlined in the official notification. It is important to note that submitting an EoI does not guarantee empanelment; NTA will conduct a detailed evaluation and physical inspection before final selection. Institutions with a proven track record of conducting large-scale examinations will be given preference.
