UGC NET June 2026 Result Declared
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination for 84 subjects on August 28, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results and download their scorecards from the official NTA UGC-NET website.
The UGC-NET June 2026 examination was conducted in CBT mode across various dates: June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, and July 05, 2026. A total of 7,73,806 candidates registered for the examination, with 6,07,151 candidates appearing. Out of these, 4,241 candidates qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor, 45,904 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D., and 97,434 candidates qualified for Ph.D. only.
It is important to note that for three subjects—English, Commerce, and Sociology—the examination will be re-conducted on September 09 and 10, 2026. Candidates for these specific subjects will not be able to access their scorecards for the June 2026 examination until after their re-examination is completed. If you are a candidate for these subjects and receive an 'Invalid Application Number/Password' message, this is expected.
All qualified candidates are advised to download and print their scorecards for future reference. The eligibility criteria and documents will be verified by the concerned authorities as per the norms specified in the UGC-NET June 2026 information bulletin.
