UGC NET June 2026 Results Announced for Key Subjects
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the UGC-NET June 2026 Examination for English, Commerce, and Sociology subjects. The examination was conducted on September 9th and 10th, 2026, across 454 exam centres in 272 cities nationwide. A total of 1,96,491 candidates registered for these three subjects, with 1,20,355 candidates appearing for the exam.
Out of the appeared candidates, 824 individuals have qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 11,610 candidates have qualified for Assistant Professor positions. Additionally, 23,154 candidates have qualified for Ph.D. only. The provisional answer keys and recorded responses were previously hosted on the NTA website from September 10th to September 13th, 2026, for challenges. These challenges were reviewed by experts, and the final results have been processed based on the expert-finalized answer keys.
Candidates who appeared for the UGC-NET June 2026 exam in English, Commerce, and Sociology can now access their scorecards.
