Minister Tiwari clarified that the state government has already sent the requisition for TRE 4.0 to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The BPSC is responsible for deciding and announcing the examination dates, following its established process. He emphasized that the Education Department does not determine the exam schedule, and the commission could release it at any time.
The BPSC TRE 4.0 notification was initially issued in August 2026. The registration process for this recruitment drive is set to commence on September 1, 2026. Candidates will have until September 30, 2026, to submit their applications, with the last date for fee payment being September 29, 2026. Interested candidates can register and apply through the official BPSC website, bpsc.bih.nic.in.
Selected candidates will receive a starting monthly salary of ₹25,000 for primary teacher positions and ₹32,000 for higher secondary teacher positions, along with applicable state government allowances. Candidates appearing for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 will also be eligible to apply for TRE 4.0, provided they qualify the STET before the final evaluation process.
